Cornwall Offers a Wealth of Opportunities for Older Adults

Cornwall, Ontario is one of the top ten places in Canada to retire, according to Money Sense Magazine.  The city’s convenient location along the beautiful St. Lawrence River, affordable housing and abundance of services and recreational facilities, are why it has a reputation as senior friendly city.  From the waterfront trail to the sports and social venues, adults fifty and over will find a wealth of opportunities geared to healthy dynamic and active lifestyles.

“I am very proud to say that we are a senior friendly community. We have so many groups in our community that promote healthy active living.”

Bernadette Clement, Mayor of the City of Cornwall

KAV has recently worked with the City of Cornwall Senior Friendly Committee to promote these opportunities to its citizens and those considering retiring here.  If you’re looking to get involved in the community or discover opportunities for socializing and recreation consider participating in the activities hosted by one of the clubs featured in this video series.
